Ellen serves as the Specialty Court Manager for the treatment courts of Berrien County. Having spent the early part of her career in corporate banking and the later in human services, she enjoys balancing financial responsibilities with a team approach to treating people as the individual human beings they are.

A graduate of Indiana University with a major in Psychology and a masters in Counseling, Ellen spent a number of years working in prevention. She has a particular compassion for people facing addiction and those who love them.   A number of professional and personal experiences have shown her addiction can happen to anyone, or any family, and yet there are always reasons for hope.

Honored to be part of developing a Southwest Michigan Chapter of FAN, Ellen is grateful for the opportunity to increase resources toward facing addiction.
