Robin Ross

Robin Ross is the Mental Health Court Coordinator for the Berrien County Trial Court.
She was born in St. Joseph, graduated from Western Michigan University with a
Bachelor’s of Science degree, a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and a
Graduate Specialty Degree in Drug and Alcohol Abuse. She completed an internship in
prevention at the Berrien County Health Department. She became passionate about drug
abuse after dealing with her son’s addiction thirteen years ago. At that time, there were
very few resources or support for families in SW Michigan, so she along with several
others, formed Voice, Change Hope. VCH presented many forums and educational
opportunities for many people in SW Michigan and also started Carol’s Hope
struggling with substances. Robin continues her involvement SUD prevention due to her
son’s success and long-term recovery. She wants other families to have the support she
didn’t have and know there is hope for a successful recovery.
