SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN
Director
Robin Ross

Robin Ross is the Mental Health Court Coordinator for the Berrien County Trial Court. She was born in St. Joseph and earned a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Strategic Communication, and a Graduate Specialty Degree in Drug and Alcohol Abuse from Western Michigan University. She completed an internship focused on substance use education at the Berrien County Health Department.

Robin’s interest in addressing addiction began thirteen years ago, when her son experienced challenges related to substance use. At that time, there were few resources for families in Southwest Michigan, so she joined with others to form Voice, Change, Hope (VCH). This group organized forums and educational events across the region and helped establish Carol’s Hope, a local program offering help to individuals navigating substance use challenges.

Today, Robin remains committed to efforts focused on substance use awareness and outreach, inspired by her son’s continued recovery. She wants other families to know that help is available and recovery is possible.
