Tom was raised in northern Michigan in the town of Harbor Springs and currently lives in Gaylord. Educated at Northern Michigan University and Ball State University, he is a Certified Peer Recovery Coach with MDHHS and CCAR (RCP-F Designation). Tom works full time in the substance use disorder field as a staff integrator and trainer. As a community advocate, he serves on the board with Otsego County FAN, Community Recovery Alliance, Recovery Notes, and Myrecoverylife.org.
