Candis Najor is an attorney who is licensed to practice law in the states of Illinois (2015) and Michigan (2016). She began her law career practicing in the Eastern District of Michigan, where she handled over 200 consumer bankruptcy cases before joining the City of Detroit in their local prosecution unit. Candis joined the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in August 2017, and was assigned to the Community Prosecution and Ceasefire Units. Candis became a board member of the Detroit Chapter of FAN in hopes of dispelling the stigma surrounding substance abuse, and also to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community.
