Washtenaw Face Addiction Now (WFAN) is committed to changing and saving lives by providing information, resources, and connection to individuals and families affected by substance use. We work alongside local treatment providers, public safety professionals, the legal system, and area nonprofits to promote a more effective and compassionate approach to substance use disorder (SUD) in Washtenaw County and beyond. At WFAN, we offer free programs for individuals in recovery and their loved ones, and we believe in the power of personal experience to inform and inspire progress.
Exercise for Recovery
Exercise has been shown to support brain health in ways that can aid addiction recovery, including reducing symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression. Washtenaw FAN has partnered with Orangetheory to offer free fitness classes to individuals in recovery.
