Director
Todd Evans

A pastor’s kid, Todd was born in Michigan but has spent his life in different areas of the Midwest. He graduated from Milford High School in 1993 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Education from Taylor University, becoming a teacher and basketball coach for several years. Eventually, Todd went back to school and earned a Master’s in Ministerial Leadership to become a pastor. He has spent the last 12+ years as a senior pastor in 2 different churches. He came to serve Bancroft Congregational Church in 2016 and is currently working on a Master’s in Practical Theology.  He has also spent 10 of the last 12 years as a law enforcement chaplain with 3 different departments. Evans currently serves as the chaplain for the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office, working to provide pastoral services to the law enforcement officers and their families. He is also in charge of church security training and consultation services in the county.  Through his work as a chaplain, Todd has achieved a 3rd Degree Black Belt rank in Cha Yun Do and is the chief instructor for David’s Warriors. He also serves on the board of directors for Christian Martial Arts Fellowship, which oversees the art of Cha Yun Do.  He has become involved and passionate about drug awareness in recent years through his work with law enforcement, as well as having family members who have struggled with addiction. He feels that his addiction-related advocacy work goes hand in hand with human trafficking, another issue he cares deeply about.
