Mindy graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. While she did not ultimately pursue a career in the classroom, she has carried her educator's heart into her work in broadcast and digital advertising at WLNS-TV and WLAJ-TV in mid-Michigan. Through strategic storytelling and community partnerships, Mindy helps businesses educate, inform, and connect with the audiences they serve.

Mindy's commitment to FAN's work is deeply personal. A life-changing experience involving someone close to her challenged her assumptions and reshaped her understanding of addiction, leading her to choose education over fear and support over silence.

Mindy is passionate about breaking misconceptions surrounding substance use disorder and helping families realize that addiction does not discriminate—it affects people in every community, profession, and background. She is committed to advancing Face Addiction Now's mission of raising awareness, changing perceptions, and providing education to individuals and families impacted by addiction.
