Lori Ziolkowski is an associate professor at Delta College, where she has taught marketing and management for the past 10 years. She holds an M.B.A. in marketing, but is most proud of a different accomplishment: M-O-M. She is Amanda’s mom. Together with Kevin, her husband of 28 years, Lori has fought a 4-year battle with addiction, side-by-side with her daughter, who overdosed on heroin in May of 2013. Thankfully, Amanda survived that overdose and has been celebrating recovery since February of 2016. Along with Judge Harry Gill, Lori formed the Great Lakes Bay Region Face Addiction Now chapter in October of 2017 and served as its vice president for a time. The chapter launched their Hope Not Handcuffs program at eight local law enforcement agencies in July of 2018. Lori is committed to helping others through addiction prevention, stigma reduction, and treatment accessibility.
