A retired teacher, she helped establish the Chippewa FAN chapter in 2013. Having lost her daughter to substance use after a long struggle to “battle back,” she has deep empathy for those struggling with substance use and their families. She finds it gratifying to see the progress made over the years as the chapter’s work continues to change attitudes and encourage those struggling and their loved ones.
