The Gratiot County Chapter of Face Addiction Now has launched a “Suitcases for Treatment” program to help individuals entering inpatient substance use programs. Each suitcase, donated by Renewed Resale and filled by FAN with basic necessities, provides dignity and comfort to people who often arrive with little more than the clothes on their back. Supported by the Gratiot County Jail and Gratiot Integrated Health Network, the initiative reduces barriers to treatment and shows participants their community cares.
