On Wednesday, June 3, FAN's Director of Operations, Dunya Kilano, and our longtime community partner, Mario Bastianelli of the Sterling Heights Police Department, stood before the House Judiciary Committee in support of House Bill 5453—a bill that would give communities a real way to connect people struggling with addiction to treatment and support, instead of moving straight to charges.
