Judge Annemarie Lepore has been serving the 41A District Court in Sterling Heights since 2018. Prior to her position as a judge, she built a career as an attorney, specializing in criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. Her experience as a legal practitioner equipped her with invaluable insights into the complexities of the legal system and the diverse needs of her clients. Judge Lepore created and currently serves as the presiding judge over the 41A District Court's first Sobriety Court, a testament to her commitment to innovative solutions in addressing substance abuse issues. She has attended training conferences through the Michigan Association of Treatment Court Professionals (MATCP) and All Rise, formally known as the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP). She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Women Lawyers Association of Michigan - Macomb Region, Macomb County Bar Association, and the Italian American Bar Association.
